Get to Know Your Tourist Office

The Oléron Island and Marennes Basin Tourist Office is an intermunicipal tourist office covering the 12 municipalities that make up the Marennes-Oléron region.

The tourist office, organized as a nonprofit association, was established on January 1, 2015, following the consolidation of the 12 tourist offices in the Marennes-Oléron region. The main objectives were to pool resources and to develop and organize new tourism development projects for the region.

The tourist office consists of 10 permanent visitor centers and 4 seasonal visitor centers, welcoming 229,000 visitors per year. The headquarters is located in Marennes (22 rue Dubois Meynardie, 17320 Marennes-Hiers-Brouage).
