The Tourist Office has been classified as Category I since February 1, 2022, and is committed to providing its visitors with a unique travel experience. With a mission to ensure your satisfaction throughout your stay, we are committed to:
- Provide an easily accessible reception area and information desk.
- Make it easier for you to complete your tasks.
- Provide seating for you.
- Provide you with free information aboutlocal tourist attractions.
- Display and publicize its hours of operation in at least two foreign languages.
- Offer you free Wi-Fi access.
- Be open at least 305 days a year, including Saturdays and Sundays, during the tourist season or when events are taking place.
- Respond to your correspondence year-round.
- Provide a permanent reception service staffed by personnel who speak at least two foreign languages .
- Provide printed tourist maps, city maps, and guidebooks.
- Provide you with access to its dedicated trilingual website, optimized for viewing on in-vehicle devices.
Alsodistribute tourist information in print form, translated into at least two relevant foreign languages:
- all classified tourist accommodations, including at least the name of the establishment, mailing address, email address, website address, phone number, and classification level;
- cultural, natural, or recreational monuments and tourist sites, which may include admission fees, periods and hours of operation, the website, and telephone and mailing addresses;
- events and activities; emergency phone numbers.
- Update your tourism information annually.
- Display emergency phone numbers outside.
- Showcase all certified accommodations in your service area for all types of guests.
- Give you access to check availability at rated accommodations.
- Handle your complaints and measure your satisfaction.
- Offer a tourist information service that incorporates new information and communication technologies (social media, mobile phones, geolocation, etc.).
- Comply with the requirements of the Qualité Tourisme certification.
- Provide you with a travel advisor.
- Ensure that information on local tourism offerings is reliable and up-to-date.
