The Maritime Flavors Trail
The Route des Saveurs Maritimes is a local initiative that brings together professionals who keep maritime professions and products alive in the regions of Île d’Oléron, the Marennes Basin, Royan Atlantique, and Rochefort Océan. Its goal: to raise awareness of maritime expertise and promote local products, particularly through tastings, dining experiences, and tours.
Who is this program intended for ?
The program is intended for oyster bars, restaurants, and visitor sites related to the maritime world.
Tasting huts must engage in offshore aquaculture and hold a tasting permit. Restaurants commit to offering 100% locally sourced oysters and fish and shellfish from the fish markets and aquaculture farms of Charente-Maritime. Visitor sites, for their part, must offer guided tours and educational activities focused on maritime professions.
What are the benefits for businesses?
Gain visibility through a presence in high-quality promotional materials: the annual tourist map, educational booklet, the www.saveurs-maritimes.com website, and social media. Each participating region also promotes the initiative through its own promotional and communication tools (press, website, digital visitor portal, etc.).
Join a network of committedprofessionals, benefit from advice and support, and participate in a collective effort to raise awareness of local products and enhance the region’s gastronomic and maritime appeal.
