Lucette, a shopkeeper at the Château Bazaar, and Nestor, an oyster farmer by trade, invite you to take a trip back in time; it’s 1963, and there are plans to build a bridge between the island and the mainland. They’ll tell you all about island life, local personalities, and the town’s past… which holds a bright future.
Free tour offered by the town hall’s cultural department; no registration required.
Meet at the market square, in front of the Renaissance Fountain, at 3:00 p.m. for a tour lasting about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
