Description
This activity offers a playful, sensory discovery of the foreshore, specially designed for young children. At low tide, participants set off to discover this fascinating environment between land and sea, where every rock, puddle or seaweed hides a multitude of life forms. Guided step by step, young and old alike learn to observe, touch and handle the foreshore's small inhabitants with gentleness and respect, while understanding why these gestures are essential to preserving the marine environment.
Through simple explanations, discussions and active exploration, children discover how the marine ecosystem works, the surprising adaptations of animals and plants, and the links between man and the sea. The talk is deliberately accessible, illustrated and rhythmic, to keep the attention of the youngest visitors. All teaching materials are provided, to ensure a safe and appropriate approach. All animals are released.
