Tourism observatory

Since May 2015, the Tourism Office has established a tourism observatory covering the entire Île d’Oléron and the Marennes Basin.

The goal is to gather accurate quantitative and qualitative data on tourism activity (overall satisfaction among service providers, reservation rates, quantified feedback from tourist information offices, etc.) and to have a genuine decision-making tool. The goal is to conduct a thorough analysis of market trends, which can serve as a practical management tool for all local professionals to help them manage their businesses and position themselves within the current market.
