Description
Pink October marks the month of national awareness for breast cancer. In France, this disease affects thousands of women every year and remains a major public health issue. The Pink October awareness campaign, symbolized by the now-famous pink ribbon, is an opportunity to come together to promote screening, support research, and improve patient care.
This year’s program:
• A conference at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16—community hall, Place Simone Veil in Dolus
• 3 walks:
2 km (inclusive walk), 6 km, and 10 km walks
• 2 races (registration required):
5 km and 10 km races
• A prevention village from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Participants are invited to wear something pink. It’s also recommended that you bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
