Enamel on copper exhibition - Chantal Birgi

Description

After having explored different means of artistic expression (tempera, oil, wood sculpture, pastel and watercolor), I finally chose copper enamel because of the richness of its colors and the variety of techniques used (champ levé, cloisonné, painted enamel), it's a wonderful discovery every time. I draw my inspiration from my travels and of course from the island of Oléron where I regularly stay. I like to share my work by explaining copper enamel techniques to visitors. I plan to exhibit paintings, jewelry and sculptures in enamel combined with different materials (driftwood, stone ..) as well as watercolors and pastels.
