With nearly 5000 tons of fish landed each year, the port of La Cotinière is the leading artisanal fishing port in Charente-Maritime. With its brightly coloured fleet, the incessant ballet of boats in the port and intense activity on the quays in all seasons, La Cotinière is a must-see on the island of Oleron!
With the aim of giving greater visibility to the Marennes Oléron area, the webcams of Les Huttes, La Cotinière and the Chassiron lighthouse were co-financed by the European Union with the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and the Communauté de communes de l'Île d'Oléron. The webcams of Saint-Trojan-les-Bains and Saint-Denis d'Oléron were co-financed as part of the New Territorial Tourist Organisation (NOTT) project set up by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
