Description

To the north of Saint-Georges d'Oléron, this charming sandy beach offers a beautiful view of Ile d'Aix and Fort Boyard.

Thanks to its position, this beach is ideally situated for swimming and seaside activities in complete safety.

What's more, it's within easy reach of the little port of Le Douhet and its many activities: bars/restaurants, sailboat trips, boat hire, jet skiing, kitesurfing...

The Plaisance beach is supervised every day during the summer months, and is marked by red and yellow rectangular flags.

Bicycle parking and summer shuttle service in season.

Pets are not allowed on the beach from 15/06 to 15/09 from 9:00 am to 8:30 pm. Please refer to the municipal by-law posted at the beach entrance.
