Marennes' maritime history revolves around several ports, whose role and importance have evolved over the centuries. On this walk, you'll discover the history of the commercial port that developed along the Lindron channel, just a short distance from the center of Marennes. But also that of the marina at La Cayenne, completed by an oyster port. You'll walk along the Seudre-Charente canal and wander through the heart of the marshes to the Loges tidal mill. You'll also walk along part of the Chenal de la Cayenne.
