Follow your tour guide through the narrow streets of Grand-Village and discover the traditional houses of the island of Oléron. Learn more about the interplay between people, architecture, and nature, and how life has evolved under the unique conditions of island life from the Middle Ages to the present day.
Your tour guide is a native German speaker. A cultural educator and historian with a Ph.D., she has lived on Oléron for five years and is now in her third season working for the Maison éco-paysanne. She is committed to preserving and passing on local knowledge.
Prices: Adults: €4.50, Explore-Oléron Pass: €3, Children ages 6 to 18: €1
