With a history spanning two millennia, the small and very ancient village of OLERON—the name given to it by our ancestors—boasts a rich and beautiful history that we invite you to discover over two days:
Saturday, September 19, 2026
– 10:00 a.m. Meet at the citadel, ramp on the harbor side;
– 3:00 p.m. Tour of the town’s neighborhoods: Meet at the church square, Rue Pierre Wiehn;
Sunday, September 20, 2026
- 10:00 a.m. Meet at the citadel, ramp on the harbor side;
- 3:00 p.m. Meet at the citadel, ramp on the harbor side.
These guided tours, backed by extensive documentation, highlight the research conducted by a team of local scholars and the latest discoveries.
Lasting approximately 2 hours, these tours are primarily intended for history enthusiasts.
