Description

The University of Poitiers invites you to come and talk with students and their professors, who will use your input to complete an interactive map. They will be able to digitize any documents (photos, writings, objects) that you bring with you. The Histoparty Project aims to connect folk knowledge with academic knowledge and to preserve it throughout the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.



The event, organized by the Île d’Oléron Community of Municipalities, is part of the European Heritage Days program. The Trésors de l’Île association is assisting with the organization.



These days of exchange will feature a program of exhibitions, lectures, and screenings, as well as a performance titled *Bientôt la vague*, presented by *La Compagnie du héron à deux becs*, on Friday, September 18, at 6:30 p.m., followed by a reception.

- Friday, September 18, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

• Collection of personal accounts—by appointment or walk-in

• Exhibition by Victor Prévot IØ 2124

• Screening of the film *Mémoire de Xynthia* by the Cronos research group

• Screening of Sébastien Cassen’s historical investigation, *L’inconnu du sable*

• Tour of the exhibition by the Cie du Héron à deux becs – 6:30 p.m.

• Performance of *Bientôt la vague* at 6:30 p.m. – duration: 1 hour



- Saturday, September 19, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Collection of testimonies—by appointment or walk-in

• Exhibition by Victor Prévôt IØ 2124

• Screening of the film *Mémoire de Xynthia* by the Cronos research group

• Screening of Sébastien Cassen’s historical investigation, *L’inconnu du sable*

• Flash talks at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

• 5:30 p.m. Closing remarks and summary of the data collection by Thierry Sauzeau
