Description
Our chef makes all his dishes in-house, from starter to dessert. At L'Assiette du Capitaine, "homemade" and local produce are the real stars of the menu. It really does seem to combine everything you'd expect from a unique gastronomic experience, in a warm, welcoming setting and with attentive service. Delicious surprises for the taste buds: inventive cuisine with flavors that respect the seasons and local produce. You'll enjoy fish and seafood specialties (daily fish arrivals direct from the port of La Cotinière).
Our dishes feature fresh produce in its simplest form, with a touch of the islands.
Here are just a few of the dishes you'll be able to sample that are out of the ordinary: grilled shark with Creole sauce and green banana, country-style langoustines pan-fried with potatoes and bacon and flambéed in cognac, mouclade, mussels on the half-shell au gratin with saffron and curry, cabri colombo... Reservations are strongly recommended!
