Who isn’t afraid?
An iconic figure in folk tales, the monster has always been a part of our lives, feeding our fears or bringing them to light. It represents everything we try to hide or control; it embodies excess—and is actually not so far removed from the hero! It scares us, sends shivers down our spines, but—go figure—we kind of like it, and sometimes it even makes us laugh! It’s strange, as if it were part of our family…
The blOp Collective takes on two children’s books: Gordilok, an unlikely green monster with mean little eyes, and the three gruff goats who soon stumble upon a hungry troll in this retelling of a Scandinavian folk tale.
