Description
Born in Poitiers in 1974, Sylvie Marillaud discovered the art world at a very young age. After studying at the Nantes School of Fine Arts and at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, she developed a personal body of work that she now exhibits in France and abroad.
Her artistic universe is based on the intersection of photography and painting. Starting with real images, she creates transformed works, where forms and colors evolve to give free rein to the imagination.
Her creations, both gentle and surprising, play with contrasts and textures. They invite each viewer to see differently and to be carried away by their emotions.
Through her work, Sylvie Marillaud invites the public to take a fresh look at the image and to be surprised by creations where imagination and reality meet.
