Description
Why is the sky blue on Earth… and black on the Moon? Why are clouds white… or gray? The Sun is yellow, or even reddish-orange, yet in space, astronauts always see it as white… why? And where do the iridescent colors of the rainbow come from?
These natural phenomena, which science can explain, are well known. Others are rarer but just as astonishing, such as the green flash, halos around the Sun, or the polar auroras.
Let’s admire and understand together this sky full of colors—even when it’s starry!
