Marennes Beach is the ideal setting for water sports and swimming, as well as for playing sports and relaxing.



Beach tennis is a racket sport played on sand, combining the skill of tennis with the teamwork of beach volleyball. The ball must never touch the ground; every rally is played in the air, with the net set at 1.70 m.



Managed by the French Tennis Federation (FFT) since 2008, beach tennis now features national championships, 16 active regional leagues, and a dedicated license since 2023. Come try the sport with Pierre Cyprien from the Marennes Basin Tennis Club.
