Description
VINS DE PAYS DE L'ÎLE D'OLÉRON Lulled by iodine and bathed in light. On the communes of Dolus and Château d'Oléron. Domaine PARADISIØ's 10 hectares of vines enable Sabrina and Sylvain to produce RAISINS D'IØ. THE VINEYARD Driven by our convictions, we want to convert our 10-hectare vineyard to organic farming.
We are working to create a 4-hectare biodynamic vineyard to make it a sanctuary for vines and wine, dedicated to 100% natural production. ECOSYSTEM On the Atlantic coast, off the Charente Maritime, the island of Oléron, La Lumineuse, is a unique terroir. Its fabulous landscapes are home to exceptional flora and fauna. Its mild climate and sunshine have made it a paradise for vines for over 2,000 years. Traditionally, Charente's vines have been dedicated to the production of Cognac and Pineau des Charentes, but its white, red and rosé wines are gaining in notoriety. Their growing quality and reasonable prices are delighting wine lovers. BIODYNAMY Our project is to move towards biodynamic production, a technique that consists of looking at an agricultural estate as a living organism, with as few inputs as possible as far as living organisms are concerned. This method uses plant-based preparations to activate or control the soil's natural forces in order to support a good vegetative process and limit the development of parasites.
We cultivate ancient and contemporary vegetables, breed forgotten animal breeds and harvest our own beekeeping product, Le miel du bout du monde. The farm has an educational trail called De l'estran à la ferme (From the foreshore to the farm) where you can visit our animals. ROUTARD GUIDE 2025
