Chambre d'hôtes for two (160 cm bed) with en-suite shower room. Heated indoor swimming pool in wooded garden. Jacuzzi on reservation, with extra charge of €10 for 2 people (45 minutes). Quietly located 1.5 km from the town center of Château d'Oléron, with its ramparts, citadel and oyster port, surrounded by colorful craftsmen's huts, you can take advantage of a fine network of bike paths, starting less than 100 m from the house. Take the oyster route to the village beach, its lake or its daily market, 1.5 km away, or enjoy the immense ocean beaches bordered by forest, less than 4 km from the house by track or road. On site: 124 cm flat-screen color TV, microwave and minibar fridge in bedroom, dining area in house. Private terrace with garden furniture, barbecue and plancha. Owner's washing machine and tumble dryer. The room is air-conditioned, and all baby equipment is provided. Breakfast included in the price. Board games, ping-pong, loan of pétanque balls, etc.... Short 2-night minimum stay during busy periods (school vacations, bank holiday weekends, etc.), 1 night accepted outside these periods. Special welcome for hikers on the Chemin d'Oléron (see conditions by telephone with the owner, Mme Gateau Annick). For hikers, the owner can offer to drive guests to the starting point of the Chemin du littoral d'Oléron, and pick them up again at the end of the stage in the afternoon, for the duration of their stay.
