Les Foulées de Chassiron

Description

The reputation of this race is due to its exceptional route, which passes through the village center, then uses the cycle paths, crosses the vineyards, skirts the cliffs to reach the Chassiron lighthouse and brings you back with a short passage along the beach to the finish on the Esplanade du Port.

The race is open to all, including juniors and cadets.

Trophies will be awarded on the podium in the finish area.

Starting at approx. 11.30 a.m. (Age classifications for men and women).



The start of the race is preceded by :



A free 1.5 km children's run (unclassified).

An 8 km walk for all.

Les Foulées race details:



Registration:



-20 €+registration fees on the Chrono-Start internet platform, until 6:00 pm on the preceding Thursday.



-20 € on site at the Esplanade du Port on Friday afternoon and Saturday before the race.



A registration form can be downloaded from the Foulées website or will be available from July at the Tourist Office and Town Hall.



Dossards pick-up



Bibs will be available for collection on Friday afternoon (3-8pm), Saturday (10-8pm) and Sunday morning until 9am at the P.C. Organisation.



The start is at 9.30 am on the esplanade of the Port of Saint Denis, and the finish will be at the same place.



Refreshment points are provided at the 7th and 10th km, as well as at the finish.



Walk details :



An 8 km route is available for accompanying persons, friends of runners and hiking enthusiasts.



Registration will take place on site on Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday morning before 8.45 am, at the P.C. Organisation, on the harbour esplanade.



Price: €7 (free for accompanied children under 15).



No pets allowed on the walk.



Children's Race details:



For the children's race ( born between 2010 and 2015).



It is free of charge, and registration will take place on site on Saturday and Sunday morning, with compulsory parental authorisation.



Each participant will receive a bib and a reward.



As in previous years, part of the registration fees will be donated to a humanitarian aid association.



Sunday morning schedule :



8:45 am: Start of the children's race from the esplanade du Port, under the arch.

9:00 am: Start of the walk, from the esplanade du Port, under the arch.

9:30 am: Start of the 12km Race, from the esplanade du Port, under the arch.

Finish for all: Esplanade du Port de Saint Denis, under the municipal arch.

11:30 am: Closing drink, on the Esplanade du Port, hosted by the municipality.
