Description
A masonry well some 4 meters deep, it once held up to 22 tons of ice collected from the frozen canals. This ice enabled the governor of the town to offer his distinguished guests sorbets and desserts, but it was also used for the hospital's needs.
The building was fully restored in the 1990s.
