Description

The Marennes beach is a 5-hectare bathing basin.

The beach is very popular with families and children, who can swim in complete safety, without the risk of baïnes or tidal currents, and is supervised in summer, from July 05 to August 31, from 11am to 7pm.

Kayak rental - Sailing school nearby - Seafront with restaurants, oyster tasting, ice cream.

Thursday evening markets in summer.

Cycle paths, walking trails, fitness trail, picnic tables, parking lots and sanitary facilities nearby.

Marennes Plage also offers superb panoramic views of the Seudre bridge and the Pont d'Oléron.

No pets allowed all year round around the swimming pool.
