It's close to La Brée-les-Bains shops (bakery, butcher's, mini-market, etc.), as well as a market in high season and during school vacations, and opens directly onto a discreet beach, popular with families and surfers alike, with a breathtaking view of the Ile de Ré, Fort Boyard and the Ile d'Aix. It's just a stone's throw from the cycle paths leading to the island's magnificent beaches (Huttes, Saumonards) and the Saint-Denis marina, which offers a sea link to La Rochelle as well as a host of water sports (catamaran, jet-ski, windsurfing).



The house has 4 bedrooms: 2 with double beds (one 140x190, the other 160x200); 1 with 2 single beds (80x200); 1 with a bunk bed (sleeps 2) and a single bed (110x190).



It also includes: 2 living rooms, 1 with a single sofa bed, the other with a fireplace, widescreen TV, DVD/Blu-ray player and cable access via the Free box; 2 bathrooms, both with walk-in showers (note: both bathrooms are adjoining bedrooms); 1 fully-equipped open-plan kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso, coffee maker, food processors, toaster, kettle, etc.), which opens onto 1 veranda.), opening onto 1 veranda with a large dining table and a winter lounge; 2 WCs; 1 laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, food processor, bread maker, ironing board and iron. The house has Wi-Fi and fiber. Garden furniture, wood for the fireplace and a barbecue are available. The house is ideal for family vacations with young children: the garden is enclosed and very spacious. The house has been in the family for over a century. It's a house that's lived in, not just rented out. We love to hunt for beautiful old crockery and furniture. We're gradually renovating the house, but one or two rooms are still in their original state. Dishcloths, towels and tablecloths are provided, but not bed linen. There is an additional charge for end-of-stay cleaning, which costs €120. Please leave the house in an acceptable state of cleanliness, and clean the dishes and appliances.
