Charming villa in an Oleron village near the ocean
Description
The house is on one level, set in enclosed grounds planted with trees, with two large terraces (south and west), each with a large table for 10 people. Outside, there's also a large parasol, garden furniture, armchairs, deckchairs and a gas plancha.
The house offers a high level of contemporary comfort, with a large walk-in closet, shoe storage and coat racks, a fully-equipped kitchen opening onto a large living room of around 50m², and a storeroom adjoining the kitchen with a washing machine, a second refrigerator, a vacuum cleaner, an ironing board, a clothesline, shelves and more.
The sleeping area is independent, ensuring calm and relaxation. The bedrooms are as follows
- 1st bedroom (12m²): 160cm bed, wardrobe, suitcase rack and two bedside tables.
- 2nd bedroom (12m²): twin 90cm beds, wardrobe, two bedside tables.
- 3rd bedroom (approx. 15m²): two 90cm twin beds (separate if required), closet, two bedside tables, and access to a sunny patio with a small table and two chairs.
- 4th bedroom, approx. 15m²: a 140cm bed, wardrobe, desk, bedside tables and direct access to the garden.
- 5th bedroom (8m²): 2-seater sofa bed and storage space.
If required, a cot and high chair can be provided free of charge by the owners.
Finally, the house has two bathrooms and two separate toilets. The first has a vanity unit, towel rail, coat hooks and shower, while the second has the same facilities, plus a bathtub and walk-in shower.
The beach and cycle paths are 150m away. You can fish on foot, swim or admire the beautiful sunsets (south-west facing). In July and August, a shuttle bus runs around the island's beaches.
The village of La Biroire, with its narrow lanes, is devoid of any shops, which is why it's so peaceful. Saint-Pierre d'Oléron's town center and large shopping center are just a few minutes away by car, and La Cotinière is also home to a large number of convenience stores and restaurants.
