Guided tour

As part of the Semaine de l'Arbre et du Paysage organized by the Conseil départemental de la Charente-Maritime from April 12 to 26, the Communauté de communes de l'île d'Oléron is offering a visit to the Brigannières orchard, created in 2023 at Château d'Oléron with the participation of the association "Les Croqueurs de Pommes" and a group of local residents. This visit will provide an opportunity to review the objectives of the project: to preserve and enhance the value of local and ancient fruit tree species, to raise awareness of local production and short distribution channels, and to observe a demonstration of grafting on fruit trees, led by members of the "Les Croqueurs de Pommes" association. Reservations recommended.
