Description
Seaweed discovery outing and seaweed cooking workshop: Preferably bring boots or ankle-high shoes that go in the water, a small bucket with a lid and a pair of scissors for harvesting seaweed, and possibly a windbreaker and headgear depending on the weather. Continue the outing with a cooking workshop, creating a simple, cold, aperitif recipe. (Please let us know in advance if you have any food intolerances). If you can, bring one or two containers to take home your culinary preparations. The seaweed outing starts at 8:45 a.m. sharp, depending on the tides, at the camper van parking lot on the left as you arrive at the Chassiron lighthouse via Saint Denis. The seaweed outing ends at around 12:30 p.m. The seaweed cooking workshop will take place at the Chassiron campsite. The complete session (including the cooking workshop) will finish at around 5:30 p.m. Number of people limited, so reservations must be made with permacultureoleron@gmail.com One price: outing and cooking workshop €40.
