Description
This event offers an in-depth look at seaside plants, real treasures of the coastline that are often overlooked. During a guided walk, participants learn to identify the main coastal plant species, recognize their shapes, colors and specific adaptations to marine conditions such as wind, salt and sand, and discover the traditional and contemporary uses of these plants: food, popular medicine, crafts and domestic uses. This knowledge, passed down through the ages, provides a better understanding of the close relationship between man and his natural environment. The guide also shares historical anecdotes and botanical curiosities, making the discovery lively and accessible to all. Participants are invited to observe, touch and question, while respecting the natural environment and current regulations. Explanations are adapted to the audience, encouraging discussion and curiosity, with no botanical pre-requisites. This activity offers a cultural, educational and immersive experience, ideal for discovering the coast in a different way, enriching your knowledge and taking a new look at the plants that surround us.
