Fruit and vegetable vendors, oyster sellers, butchers and bakers are all on hand to offer you quality local produce.
The Baltard-style covered market, with wooden louvers on a metal frame, cast-iron or metal framework and posts, and zinc roofing, has since 2013 been restructured in the "Eiffel" style, bringing a certain charm to the town center.
