Plage de Plaisance

To the north of Saint-Georges d'Oléron, this charming sandy beach offers a beautiful view of the Ile d'Aix and Fort Boyard. Thanks to its position, this beach is ideally situated for swimming and seaside activities in complete safety. What's more, it's right next to the little port of Le Douhet and its many activities: bars/restaurants, sailboat rides, boat hire, jet skiing, kitesurfing...

The Plaisance beach is supervised every day in summer, and is marked by red and yellow rectangular flags.

Bicycle parking and summer shuttle service in season.

Pets are not allowed on the beach from 15/06 to 15/09 from 9:00 am to 8:30 pm. Please refer to the municipal by-law posted at the beach entrance.
