Part escape game, part Olympiad and part orienteering race, SUR LES TRACES D'ULARIUS is a 100% original concept from Oleron, combining enigmas, tests, challenges and quizzes.



Throughout the 16 trails, divided into 4 levels of play (nursery, elementary and teen/adult), Vincent, your Game Master, accompanies you to lead your adventure, provide you with unusual anecdotes and help you enjoy a unique and convivial moment.



When you set out ON THE TRACKS OF ULARIUS, you play and visit the island of Oleron for real, without ever using your smartphone. Our aim is to offer you an authentic, human gaming experience.



"WHAT IS ULARIUS?

It's the first name given to the island of Oleron. It was first mentioned by the Roman historian Pliny the Elder in the 1st century. At the time, a Roman castrum

(fortified camp) was erected on the site of today's Citadelle du Château-d'Oléron. Then, by extension, the name was given to the whole island of Oleron.



OUR ACTIVITIES :

SUR LES TRACES D'ULARIUS treasure hunts and life-size treasure trails are played in teams of 2 to 5 participants. A game session can accommodate up to 8 teams, with a minimum of 3 teams registered.

All along the way, Vincent, your Game Master, is on hand to lead the quizzes, supervise the tests and deliver the riddles and challenges you need to complete the various stages.



Rallye des P'tits Drôles* (treasure hunt):

Awaken the senses of your budding adventurers on a natural or emblematic site.

- Ages 4 to 6 ;

- 4 routes of approximately 1 km: Pointe de Chassiron, Centre-bourg de Saint-Georges-d'Oléron, Port de la Cotinière and Plage de Gatseau;

- Duration: approx. 1h15 ;

- Full price: €9/person. Reduced rate (under 18): 7€/pers.



Rallye des Drôles* (treasure hunt):

Solve the riddles and challenges to find the treasure chest.

- For children aged 7 and over who can read (children aged 4 and over can take part if they are part of a team with at least one child who can read).

- 4 routes of approximately 3.5 km: Pointe de Chassiron, Centre-bourg de Saint-Georges-d'Oléron, Port de la Cotinière and Plage de Gatseau.

- Duration: approx. 2h00

- Full price: €14/pers. Reduced rate (under 18): €12/pers.



Pedestrian rally (treasure hunt):

Stroll through the town center of a commune on the Ile d'Oléron and ask its inhabitants for help in finding the stages.

- Ages 12 and up

- A choice of 4 routes of around 5 km in 3 stages: Saint-Denis-d'Oléron, Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron, Le Château-d'Oléron and Saint-Trojan-les-Bains;

- Duration: approx. 3h00

- Full price: €24/pers. Reduced rate (under 18): 22€/pers.



Bicycle rally (treasure hunt):

Take advantage of the 150 km of cycle paths on the island of Oleron to appreciate its diversity.

- For ages 16 and up

- A choice of 4 routes from 20km to 30km in 4 stages: North (departing from La Brée-les-Bains), East (departing from Boyardville), West (departing from

La Cotinière) and South (from Grand-Village-Plage).

- Duration: between 4h00 and 4h30

- Full price: €34/pers. Reduced rate (under 18): 32€/pers.



HOW TO TAKE PART IN A PUBLIC SESSION?

1/ Form a team of 2 to 5 participants, including at least one adult;

2/ Consult the schedule of public sessions (from April to November) onlestracesdularius.fr ("schedule" tab), social networks or the Tourist Office's "Agenda des Manifestations" and choose a treasure hunt or treasure hunt from those on offer;

3/ Visit the website atlestracesdularius.fr, then click on "Book";

4/ Select the date of the activity you wish to take part in;

5/ Choose your treasure hunt or treasure hunt and your ticket according to the composition of your team.

Each session can accommodate up to 32 participants (8 teams of 4). For larger groups of between 33 and 64 participants, we can adapt our treasure hunts and treasure trails by dividing participants into 2 groups, with delayed departures for the Pedestrian and Bicycle Rallies. The duration of these rallies is then extended from 30 to 45 minutes.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Treasure hunts and treasure trails in the footsteps of ULARIUS are open to everyone: families with children aged 4 and over, teenagers and adults.

You don't have to be a great sportsman to take part. Many of your other talents/skills will be put to good use: team spirit, discernment, curiosity, and so on. However, you must not have any medical contraindications to physical exercise.

Minors must be accompanied by at least one adult.



INCLUDED IN THE OFFER :

- entertainment by Vincent, your Game Master, throughout your tour,

- a complete game kit,
