Open the monday 04/05/2026 as of 15:00

Description

Climate change is already well underway in France, with worrying trends in a number of climatic indicators and impacts on natural environments (water resources, biodiversity, etc.). The conference will focus on the impact of climate change on the water cycle, and more specifically on water resources at both national and regional level. The sharp drop in river flows (and the likely drop in groundwater recharge rates) and the deterioration in natural water quality will be discussed, along with the impact on uses, particularly drinking water. Adaptation solutions will be discussed in conclusion and during the debate.
