Description

Where does the energy that drives our climate come from? This lecture invites you to discover how solar radiation shapes climatic phenomena on our planet: we'll see how the Earth's atmosphere and surface absorb and reflect this energy, and how scientists use the notion of radiative forcing to measure the impact of human activities on climate, according to the work of the IPCC.

Vincent Ayel specializes in engineering sciences in the fields of heat transfer and energy, and his research is directly linked to the land, air and space transport sectors. In a popular science approach, he uses his knowledge of physics to promote a better understanding of the climate and its mechanisms.
