Seaweed: Discovery Tour Followed by a Cooking Workshop
Dates & opening times
Description
Seaweed Discovery Tour and Seaweed Cooking Workshop: Please bring rubber boots or, if not available, high-top shoes that support your ankles and can get wet, a small bucket with a lid, and a pair of scissors for harvesting seaweed, as well as a windbreaker and a hat depending on the weather.
The outing continues with a cooking workshop, where you’ll prepare a simple, cold appetizer. (Please let us know in advance if you have any food intolerances.) If possible, bring one or two containers to take your prepared dishes home with you.
The start time for the seaweed excursion depends on the tides and takes place at exactly 10:45 a.m. in the RV parking lot on the left as you approach the Chassiron Lighthouse from Saint Denis.
The seaweed excursion ends around 1:30 p.m.
The seaweed cooking workshop will take place at Le Chassiron campground.
The full session (including the cooking workshop) will end around 5:30 p.m.
Space is limited, so reservations are required at permacultureoleron@gmail.com
Single price: seaweed excursion and cooking workshop €40.
For the seaweed excursion only: adults €15
children under 6 years old €7.50
Payment is due in the parking lot before the excursion (checks or cash only)
Thank you for your interest, and see you soon,
