The Saturday evening of the Île à Rire 2026 festival promises an evening entirely dedicated to humor in all its forms, brought to life by two artists with a distinct style. Opening the evening, Careen Moreno (alias Pépita), a comedian with a distinguished career, offers effective sketches without vulgarity, playing with clichés and everyday situations with finesse and self-mockery. Winner of the Jury Prize at a comedy festival, she has established herself as a refreshingly singular voice on today's comedy scene. The evening continues with Sarah-Anna and her One Woman Show "Salé". A former nurse turned stand-up comedian, Sarah-Anna delivers a dark, pungent and assertive brand of humor, drawing on her experience and observations of everyday life. Also winner of a festival jury prize, she takes audiences on a journey into a world that is at once corrosive, sensitive and wickedly funny.
