On April 11 and 12, 2026, Boyardville beach on the Ile d'Oléron will be the venue for the regional longe côte Nouvelle-Aquitaine championship. This sport, which is practiced in a waist-deep marine environment, combines endurance, technique and team spirit in an exceptional natural setting. Over two days, competitors from all over the region will compete in a variety of events: 800 m and 200 m solo, 400 m in pairs, paddle races, 4×50 m relays and a beach trail race. The program alternates between sporting events, official ceremonies and convivial moments, offering the public a rhythmic and accessible spectacle. Open to enthusiasts and the curious alike, this event showcases the Oleron coastline, healthy sports and the shared values of hiking and outdoor activities. It's a not-to-be-missed sporting and social event, with sea, sand and team spirit.
