Artistic creation in the gardens of the Maison éco-paysanne, by Carole Marchais.

Invited by the Communauté de Communes de l'île d'Oléron, Carole Marchais created a work of art in the gardens of the Maison éco-paysanne, inspired both by the 2025 theme of the Rendez-vous aux Jardins, "Gardens of stones - stones of gardens", and by the environment of the Maison éco-paysanne (natural and island environment, techniques and building materials for ecological housing).
Practical art workshops will be offered in conjunction with the artistic installation.

In parallel with this creation, an Artistic and Cultural Education project was carried out with pupils from the Grand-Village nursery school, as part of the Contrat Territorial d'Éducation Artistique et Culturelle (CTEAC) Marennes Oléron.
The pupils' work is also displayed in the garden of the Maison éco-paysanne.
