Exposition peintures-Couleurs océanes
Dates & opening times
Descriptif
Serge DELFAU, a painter adept at working on outdoor motifs, focuses his spontaneous oil painting on capturing the fleeting, multiple effects of light.
Nature is the source of his inspiration, whether in the countryside or at the seaside, where he loves the changing skies.
In addition to the landscapes of our everyday environment, he likes to reveal in his canvases the sometimes hidden beauty of more secret places.
The selection of paintings presented at St-Denis-d'Oléron gives pride of place to canvases created during regular stays on the island of Oléron in recent years.
