Some thirty artists, members of the "la palette de Saintonge" association, are exhibiting over a hundred works to be discovered in the Bastion Royal room, in the Château d'Oléron citadel, from Monday September 1 to 13, 2024.
Open daily from 10am to 6pm. Free admission.
All styles are represented. Some artists explore pastel, while others prefer oil, acrylic or watercolor. Particularly realistic landscapes and portraits rub shoulders with abstract art. This event is organized with the support of the municipality of Château d'Oléron.
In addition to the diversity on offer, the association allows each visitor to vote for his or her three favorite works.
The "Prix du Public" will be awarded to the winners on Sunday September 10, at the close of the show, in the various categories: "oil-acrylic", "pastel-watercolor" and "other techniques".
