Painting nature... Capturing the emotion of a moment. To express on canvas a form of gratitude for a fragile harmony. Béa Jolli-Blanc's eye is constantly drawn to landscapes, with a preference for trees, water, flowers and the changing light of the seasons.
For Béa Jolli-Blanc, a painting is a story. It's inscribed in a gaze that's fixed for a moment but can't detach itself from the subject. A gaze seduced by the aesthetics of a landscape, a scene of life, a corner of nature. Above all, it's a look imbued with emotion.
Between the Rhine Valley and Charente-Maritime, she chooses her subjects purely on the basis of emotion and feeling. Béa Jolli-Blanc works exclusively with oil paint, which she appreciates for its gentleness and infinite capacity to create and surprise.
