Exposition - Art floral japonais, céramique et gyotaku
Dates & opening times
Descriptif
A wind from Japan blows across the port of La Cotinière, with a joint exhibition by two artists from the island of Oléron.
Hélène Plantier-Devesa will be presenting stoneware ceramics, mainly vases of all shapes, in the style of "flower containers".
Camille Dandono, for her part, will be showing gyotaku, prints of fish caught around the island of Oleron, based on an ancient Japanese fisherman's technique, on paper.
The exhibition of "petits arrangements de fleurs", floral compositions and landscapes of the Ile d'Oléron, will introduce you to Japanese floral art, in which water, wind and the passing of time are represented.
