"E viva l'organo!" with the "Ad Lib" trio
Dates & opening times
Description
Having come from three different musical worlds (Orchestre Pasdeloup, Orchestre National d'Ile de France, Opéra de Paris), our three musicians met on the island of Oléron, and for several years have nurtured a shared passion for the world of the trio, developing a great musical and friendly complicity. The joy and pleasure they derive from playing such sublime works as Beethoven's Prelude and Fugue for Two Violins and Cello in E minor (H29) are naturally transmitted to an increasingly enthusiastic and numerous audience. On August 3, they will also perform works by Handel, Borodin and Mozart, as part of the "E viva l'organo!" festival, which celebrates its fifth anniversary in 2026. Through this festival and a meticulous selection of works for organ and voice and solo organ, the musicians of "La Cabane à Musique" captivate an increasingly loyal audience. This year, two powerful and moving opera arias will reveal the orchestral character of this instrument to our curious audience, as well as major works from the organ repertoire such as J.S. Bach's famous "Passacaglia" and his no less famous "Choral du veilleur".
