SOCIAL - The Charente-Maritime department is recruiting foster carers to help elderly people or adults with disabilities in their own homes. This scheme provides a warm, secure living environment for people in need of day-to-day assistance. Accessible without a diploma, this profession is aimed at people wishing to work in their own homes, in a human activity based on exchange, solidarity and support. Foster carers receive remuneration, training and professional supervision. A conference will be held on Thursday June 18, from 2:30 to 4:30 pm, at the Salle des fêtes in Dolus-d'Oléron.
