Art exhibition: The essence of a coastline 2026
Dates & opening times
Description
Christopher Pearson presents a series of paintings inspired by the changing light, tides and atmosphere of the Gironde estuary, in which he seeks to capture the quiet strength and subtle moods of this unique landscape.
Originally from the UK, he has lived and painted in Poitou-Charentes for over twenty years. His work has been widely exhibited along the Atlantic seaboard, and features in public and private collections. This exhibition reflects his ongoing dialogue with the estuary, an inexhaustible source of inspiration.
