Description
My acrylic knife paintings depict the Poitou Charentes region, so dear to my heart. My canvases are colorful, expressive and joyful. My universe of choice is the sea, which I like to paint in all its forms, thanks to cameos of blue. My knives wander over these canvases with layers of material, making my painting as expressive as possible. My skies, between light and shadow, reveal my way of painting. The themes I'm particularly fond of are the sea, the "carrelets", the islands of Oléron and Ré and, more broadly, the entire Atlantic coast, which are a great source of inspiration for me. I'm also very fond of flowers, which feature prominently in my paintings, and nature in general. I like to share my world and my work with people at my exhibitions. Cevrik Dussaud
