Art exhibition: African objects, paintings and bronzes

Philippe Heichelbech and Nongma Kaboré exhibit their bronzes and oil paintings at the Forge Royale in Brouage. Also on display will be a collection of Tuareg art, as well as objects from Equatorial Africa and Mali.

Description

The exhibition features creations by bronze artist Nongma Kabore, and bronzes and oil paintings by Philippe Heichelbech.

The exhibition also features Tuareg arts and crafts from equatorial Africa and Mali, in the context of fair trade with the artisans. The objects on display are accompanied by comments and explanations to place them in their artistic and cultural context.
