Acad'ÔChœur Concert: Re-enchanting the World

“Re-enchanting the World” is a concert that speaks to our times: its wounds, its hopes, its dreams, and its ability to rediscover meaning. Across cultures, languages, and musical styles, Acad’ÔChœur conveys a single conviction: music can still bring us together, move us, and help us look to the future with hope.



Winner of a silver medal at the Lisbon Sings international competition in November 2022, and of two first prizes with honors at the EMJ Festival in Neerpelt (Belgium) in 2024 and 2026, Acad’ÔChœur brings together 56 young singers from school choirs across the four departments of the Poitiers Academy. Aged 11 to 18, these wonderful teenagers tackle a rich and varied contemporary repertoire, which they bring to life with enthusiasm and energy.

Since its founding, the choir has given numerous concerts, sharing its passion with more than 80,000 delighted audience members. It is regularly invited to perform for the Minister of National Education and key partners of the Poitiers Regional Education Authority, particularly during official ceremonies.

The choir regularly collaborates with internationally renowned artists and institutions, including Radio France and its Vox portal, Bayard Publishing, Sony Music, the Francofolies, Kévin Amiel, Cali, Mademoiselle K, and American composer Jim Papoulis.
