Description
The property is located in a residential street with car access reserved for local residents, making it a quiet place, day and night. The accommodation is ideally located to take advantage of all the village has to offer (market, mini-market, newsagent, post office, restaurants, casino, exhibitions and events, sports and leisure activities, etc.) while being away from traffic and prying eyes.
The forest and the seafront with Saint-Trojan's first beaches are within easy walking distance of the accommodation, as is the P'tit train station that leads to the Grande Plage while crossing the forest, and the Navette des plages in summer.
Walkers and cyclists will appreciate being able to enjoy the island without having to take their car.
The village's cycle paths are nearby, leading to Plage de Gatseau, Grande Plage and La Cotinière. (Bikes can be rented in the village and even booked online).
Set back from the street, the accommodation offers :
- a living room divided into a dining area and a sitting area ;
- a kitchenette equipped with a gas stove, microwave oven, fridge with small freezer compartment and washing machine;
- bedroom with 140cm bed, closet and chest of drawers, opening onto the terrace;
- a bathroom with walk-in shower, small storage space and toilet;
- an adjoining storeroom for storing luggage and provisions;
- a paved "sun and shade" terrace with two deckchairs and a dining table;
- a parking space for your vehicle, on the property and for the duration of your stay.
In hot weather, its insulation and wooden shutters will keep the house cool.
Radio supplied. Wifi in the immediate vicinity, in various parts of the village.
Central heating and/or auxiliary electric heating (for colder periods).
- Bed linen rental with bed made up on arrival: €15 per set (no beach or bath towel rental).
- End-of-stay cleaning: 30 € per tenant or service. Routine cleaning is provided by tenants. We provide the necessary equipment and household products (except detergent).
- Electricity charged for more than 20 kw/h per week (e.g. in case of telecommuting).
Depending on the season, the garden will offer a wide variety of vegetation: violets, poppies, belles-de-nuit, lavender, sage, solanum, Mexican mandarin trees, etc.
The accommodation is separate from the main house, which is also located on the property, preserving everyone's peace and privacy.
Since 2012, reception has been provided by the owners, and is tailored to the needs of holidaymakers, so that they can make the most of their stay from the moment they arrive. If you're new to the island or the region, the owners will be delighted to help you find your way around.
The accommodation is a single room.
Pets are not accepted.
Minimum stay one week (from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 10am).
