Welcome to the Maison des Abricots!



A large, modern family home just 2 steps from the beach at Chaucre, open all year round in summer and winter, with a surface area of 145 m2, able to accommodate 10 people, recently renovated and located on the edge of the typical villages of Chaucre and Domino.



The house is located on the west coast of the island in a very quiet, seaside setting, in an area classified as "protected architectural, urban and landscaped heritage".



The house is set in 1200 m2 of enclosed wooded grounds, surrounded by umbrella and maritime pines.

With 5 bedrooms (4 on the first floor and 1 upstairs), the house can accommodate up to 10 people (more photos on request).

All rooms have ample storage space (wardrobes and/or cupboards). A cot is also available.

- South bedroom: 1 master suite with 1 x 160 cm bed, 1 dressing room, 1 large wardrobe, 1 private shower room

and 1 private WC

- West bedroom: 1 master suite with 1 x 140 cm bed, 1 en-suite shower room and 1 WC.

You'll have a total of 3 shower rooms and 3 independent WCs, a storeroom with 2 large fridges

The West shower room features a washing machine, tumble dryer and mobile clothesline.

The east and south shower rooms are all equipped with towel dryers. There are 2 independent WCs + 1 WC in the south shower room.

There's also an outdoor beach shower (west-facing).



The house is ideal for a spacious vacation, with family or friends, just a 10-minute walk from the supervised beach at Chaucre

and close to Les Huttes beach with its surf schools.

The house features a large, bright living room with open, fully-equipped kitchen (induction hob/oven + dishwasher + microwave).

The living areas are spacious:

- inside, a spacious kitchen/living/dining area.

- Outside, a large terrace surrounds the house. You can enjoy lunch under the shade of the pine umbrella in front of the house, or under the awning. A ping-pong table is available for family relaxation. A barbecue is available for summer meals.



The decor is simple and tasteful, with a seaside feel. Quality services.

WIFI via fiber, TV, beach games, board games and books are all available.

For stays during the autumn, winter and early spring months, the heat pump and insulation of the house will enable you to spend convivial moments in the warmth. The fireplace area is ideal for winter evenings. You can build a fire in the fireplace (a bag of wood will be provided).

House rated 3 stars for 10 people (the 2026 tourist tax is equal to 1.65 euros per adult per day; it is paid in full to the CDC de l'Ile d'Oléron).

Rental conditions :

- Short stays possible for a minimum of 3 nights, except during school vacations and bank holidays.

- A minimum of 7 days is required for rentals during school vacations (in August, it is possible to rent by the fortnight).

- Outside the summer period, electricity consumption will be billed to the tenant at a flat rate

between 30 and 50 euros, depending on the number of tenants.

- A 25% deposit is required on signing the rental contract, with the balance to be paid

2 months before the start of your stay

- For payment of the 800 euro deposit, the tenant may send either a bank transfer or a cheque to the owner

returned (by bank transfer or by cheque sent by post) at the end of the rental period, after an inventory has been
